PETER LONDA, JD, MBA :: PRESIDENT & CEO
Pete is a seasoned smart grid technology executive and serves as Tantalus' President, CEO, and board member. Most recently, Pete served as CEO of BPL Global, Ltd., a leading smart grid company delivering technology solutions to the electric utility industry with operations in the United States, Europe, Middle East, India, and China. While there, he was responsible for driving and managing all aspects of corporate strategy, operations, engineering, business development, and financing. In 2013, Pete was instrumental in executing the sale of BPLG to a division of the Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR). Additionally, he has held various leadership positions in the technology and investment banking industries at companies including The Chart Group, L.P., Thoughtworks, Inc., and SG Cowen. Pete is a graduate of Emory University and holds a JD, MBA in Finance and Corporate Law, and B.A. in Economics.
DERMOT O'LEARY :: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Dermot O’Leary is a 35 year veteran of the utility industry, with expertise in all aspects of strategic planning, product development, manufacturing and supply chain processes, customer deployments, business development, contracting, and international business. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for the substation group at BPL Global after Serveron, a VC-funded start-up that provides smart utility asset and transformer monitoring, was acquired by BPLG. Prior to that, Dermot spent the majority of his career in a number of international executive leadership positions within Schlumberger in roles such as VP and GM of Schlumberger RMS U.K. and Southern Africa, Managing Director of Schlumberger M&S South Africa, and VP-Sales of Schlumberger Industries North America. Dermot also served as VP and GM of Cellnet where he was responsible for the business unit P&L of the AMR group. This group provided AMR communication networks and data management services to major U.S. utility clients including Ameren, We Energies, Jacksonville Electric Authority, and Puget Sound Energy.
HUGO V. HODGE, JR. :: EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER, CARIBBEAN BASIN
Hugo V. Hodge, Jr., serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Caribbean Basin for Tantalus. Hugo has had a distinguished career in the utility space and most recently served as CEO of the Virgin Islands Water & Power Authority. He has also served in technical and leadership roles at Griffin Power (GA), Marietta Power (GA), and Georgia Power. Supplemental to his knowledge in distribution utility operations and management, Hugo has broadened his industry experience through leadership roles with the Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC), American Public Power Association (APPA), and the Electric Cities of Georgia (ECG). At Tantalus, Hugo leads strategic efforts to expand Tantalus’ presence in the Caribbean Basin through his extensive experience in distribution utility operations coupled with his understanding of the unique business and operational issues in the territory.
MIKE JULIAN, MBA :: VICE PRESIDENT, SALES
Mike leads Tantalus’ sales organization and is responsible for growing Tantalus’ top line. A former United States Air Force officer, Mike brings over 15 years of leadership, sales and sales management experience within the Energy and Communications industries with companies such as GE, Ericsson, Tekelec and Catapult Communications. Most recently, Mike led international sales organizations in the communications industry where he drove significant growth in the United States, Canada and Asia. A graduate of General Electric’s Technical Sales Program, Mike earned his MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
HAROLD HANKEL, P. ENG :: VICE PRESIDENT, MANUFACTURING
Harold leads the supply chain team at Tantalus and is responsible for all aspects of procurement from raw materials through delivery of finished products to Tantalus' customers. Harold has over 25 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, covering both low and high volume productions as well as on and off-shore manufacturing processes and management. He gained experience through various technical and leadership positions at Glenayre Electronics, Dynapro Systems, Inc., and Novatel Communications.
P. RANDY AEBERHARDT :: VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Randy serves as the VP of Strategic Initiatives interfacing with multiple groups within Tantalus to help drive strategic direction and product development for the company. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology product design, development, and implementation with almost half of his career spent at Tantalus as one of the company's earliest hires. While at Tantalus, Randy has expanded his skills in business development, technical and operational planning, and product development. He designed, delivered, and is named an inventor on the U.S. patent for TUNet, the Tantalus Utility Network, a high performance combination WAN/LAN/HAN utility AMI communications network which is now deployed at public power utilities across North America and the Caribbean. Randy holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.
JOHN ZIEHL :: VICE PRESIDENT, CUSTOMER OPERATIONS
John is an experienced customer operations executive with decades of experience in managing technical operations, manufacturing, test engineering, quality assurance, and technical support departments in high technology companies such as Serveron and FLIR Systems. At Tantalus, he leads the customer operations group which consists of technical support, project management, product support, and system support engineering teams. He is responsible for developing and implementing tools, processes, and technology within the customer operations group to ensure customer satisfaction, streamline the deployment process, and provide continued customer support.
PARAM PAWAR, CMA :: VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE
Param has served in leadership positions within the Tantalus finance department since 2011 and is responsible for overseeing corporate financials, treasury, tax, information systems, internal audit, telecom, human resources, benefits plan administration, and facilities management functions. Param has held a broad range of financial leadership roles with successful private companies in the Vancouver region including Integrated Paving Concepts, where he served as Controller where he managed day to day operations of the finance department through which he was instrumental in streamlining operations and contributing to the growth of the company. Param holds a B.A. in Accounting in addition to CPA and CMA professional designations.
CHRIS GERMANO :: VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT MARKETING
Chris has over 15 years’ experience in product management/marketing and over 20 years in the communication and smart grid industries. Chris was most recently with Elster Solutions as Director of Strategic Alliances. During his career, he has held various technical and leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility with IBM, Nortel, Siemens and TE Connectivity. At Tantalus, Chris leads the product marketing team and provides market-driven strategic guidance for the direction of TUNet communications development as well as new applications that leverage the TUNet platform. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from University of Central Florida.

Tantalus is led by a senior management team averaging 25 years each in high technology organizations including wireless communication, industrial automation, and leading edge Internet products. Cumulatively, Tantalus employees have led the design, development & commercialization of dozens of industrial and communications products.
