David McLennan is a retired technology CFO, currently providing general management, financial and M&A consulting services. Prior to his retirement, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Sierra Wireless Inc., a world leading IoT solutions provider (TSX: SW; NASDAQ: SWIR) from 2004 to 2020. As CFO, in addition to his finance responsibilities he oversaw Human Resources, IT & Systems, Legal, Investor Relations and Corporate Development – completing 13 international M&A transactions which pivoted the company from wireless mobile hardware provider to global leader in intelligent wireless solutions for the IoT. Prior to joining Sierra Wireless, he held progressively senior financial, operating and leadership positions at telecommunications and technology companies, including President of Bell ExpressVu, a leading Canadian satellite TV company. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and a CFA designation from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.
