Leena Al-Hajjar brings over 15 years of strategic Human Resources and operations experience to her role as Vice President, People & Culture at Tantalus Systems. With a rich background in fostering employee engagement, performance, and wellbeing, she has led large, hybrid, and remote teams across diverse industries, both in the public and private sector in Canada, the US, and Asia Pacific. As a seasoned HR professional, Leena is recognized for her expertise in advising organizations and board members on HR strategy that drives business performance and innovation. In her current role at Tantalus Systems, Leena focuses on developing high-performance teams and driving the evolution of the organization’s human capital strategy across the United States and Canada. Leena is dedicated to shaping an employee experience that prioritizes equity, diversity, and inclusion, aiming to empower and motivate every team member to contribute their best. Beyond her corporate role, Leena is a professor of human resources at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Melville School of Business. She shares her knowledge and insights with the next generation of business leaders, further contributing to the field of human resources.
