Company adds 30-year utility executive to advance technology adoption with utilities
RALEIGH, N.C. – October 10, 2017 — Tantalus Systems a technology company that helps utilities make smart decisions, announced today that Laura Formusa, former CEO of Ontario electric utility Hydro One, has joined the company’s board of directors. In her new role, Formusa will tap into her vast industry experience to help guide Tantalus’ strategic vision and grow the company’s customer base.

Before joining the Tantalus Board, Formusa served as the President and CEO of Hydro One. She first joined Hydro One in 1980, holding several leadership roles including Vice President and General Counsel before being named CEO. Formusa comes with more than 30 years of experience in the utilities industry and deep expertise in energy management technologies.

Formusa was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network and is now in the organization’s Hall of Fame.
